Some representatives of the library in the Ministry of Finance made study visits to Constitutional Court on Tuesday (26/6) afternoon. They were received by the Head of Research and Study Centre Noor Sidharta, accompanied by the Manager of Library Hanindyo.

On occasion, Noor Sidharta says a few things related to the development of libraries in MK. According to him, the existence of the library is very important in the exercise of authority for this Court. One was to support the judges in formulating decisions.

According to him, the Court is trying to make the library a modern library. "Being an e-library, electronic library," he said.

One effort underway is to convert printed books into the Court held digital books / e-book. However, digital books can only be read inside of library. So it may not be reproduced or duplicated without charge. "Except for a few books whose copyright has been given to the Court," says Sidhartha.

In addition, the collection of books that have been digitized, the plan also will be connected to a supporting device (gadget) owned by the judges in the Constitutional Court. "Being such a search engine," says Sidhartha. The hope, the Constitutional Court judges so it would be easier in the search for supporting literature will now formulate a judgment or make other written materials.

Currently, according to its records, there are approximately 22 645 copies of books the library owned by MK. There are five librarians who manage the day-to-day.
